Improv

Adam has taught, directed and performed musical improv all across and Massachusetts and Ohio. He is the musical director of ImprovBoston, where he performs and teaches regularly. His past credits include performing with such shows as Tiny Little Lungs, Back By Popular Demand, and Groaners & Boners: Schtick It To Vaudeville. He also co-created “An Evening with Ladley & Craig”, a show that integrates improvisation with songs written by him and TC Cheever.

During his time in Cleveland, Adam worked at Second City, performing for countless Mainstage shows and graduate performances. He also performed regularly with Oliver Twisted, a group which specialized in improvising full-length musicals, and Flanagan’s Wake, an audience-interactive show.

Adam also teaches musical improvisation: From the rudiments of rhythm and rhyme to the more advanced musical theater conventions, Adam can guide you through your first improvised song, or just help you beat that fear of singing onstage. If you’re interested in taking classes or getting private coaching for you or your improv group, you can contact Adam.
